I am certain that more than one person in US Airways family will make the hard decision to leave a company that they work at in order to be able to stay in a place that some have been in for more than a decade. I do not see an upside to this, when, in my opinion, they could easily staff the base with newly hired employees, but, what do I know?

US Airways...not hiring new Flight Attendants, but force transferring as many as 89
Here is a shocking little blurb. US Airways flight attendants in Philadelphia (89 of them) are being told that they will have to transfer to the base in the Carolinas that is short staffed, but they are not looking to hire new flight attendants through their web site.
