Florence Courington, flight attendant, still in court battle over DWI machine

Poor Florence Courington. She was a flight attendant with a spotless record, until one day, she was randomly selected to take part in a DWI screening test. She failed because the equipment was unable to give a reading on her test. Her airline, Northwest Airlines viewed that as a refusal, even though she spent over an hour with the tester, trying to get the machine to work.

She was offered to be on permanent probation, but declined. She was terminated.
She is among several hundred people who are asking for this machine's validity to be determined, and it is slowly moving through the court system.
