Continental Emergency landing in San Antonio due to cabin pressure loss

Continental Airlines this week was forced to make an emergency landing during a flight from Houston to Mexico was forced to make an emergency landing in San Antonio. The reason for the landing was that the plane lost cabin pressure.

You are not going to believe the next part. Some of the passengers were actually angry with the flight crew because they felt that they were not being kept up to date on what was going on.
My opinion? I think that the cockpit crew had more important things on their minds, like landing the plane instead of making little PA announcements, but that is only my two cents worth.
There is a video and the story here. I call "get over it" for the passengers who were complaining. They landed safely, after all, and that is the main goal of all of the airlines and crew in the world, and that goal was met.

Continental offers non-stop service between Houston and Lagos, Nigeria

Continental will begin offering non-stop service between Houston, Texas, and Lagos, Nigeria beginning in November of 2010. I really think that this non-stop service will be a hit among passengers, and I bet that it will generate a lot of additional revenue for Continental as people traveling to Lagos will fly in from different places in the United States. Good move for Continental to generate a great revenue.
